For most people, family is everything. In a world where it’s often hard to know who has your back, family is sometimes the only thing people can depend on. However, like all other relationships, there are some people whose familial relationships are a little on the bizarre side. Over the years, there have been many instances in which some of the biggest stars have been caught in compromising moments with members of their family. While some of these situations can be easily explained, others still have the public raising and eyebrow and wondering what’s really going on. Morgan Freeman and his step-granddaughter
For years, people have speculated that Morgan Freeman has been involved in a romantic relationship with his step-granddaughter, E’Dena Hines. In fact, at one point, there were even stories suggesting that the two planned to get married. Although both Freeman and Hines have denied these allegations, some people still have their doubts.
Lil Wayne and Birdman
These two may not be biologically related, but for years Lil Wayne has referred to Birdman as his father. However, their father-son relationship seemed a little strange a few years ago when they were photographed kissing on the lips. They both brushed the incident off as nothing more than a normal parent-child thing, but most fans didn’t think there was anything normal about what was going on in that moment.
Steve and Liv Tyler
Parents kissing their children is definitely not anything new, and there’s nothing wrong with showing affection to the people you love. However, after a certain age, kissing your children on the lips seems a little bizarre – especially when it looks more like a make out session than a familial kiss.
Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon
Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon are not biological siblings, but they were raised that way. Apparently, Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston raised Gordon in their home since he was a child. However, as adults, Bobbi Kristina and Nick have formed what appears to be a romantic relationship. When Bobbi Kristina was rushed to the hospital in January (where she has remained since) news broke that she and Gordon may have been dating. There has also been a push to uncover whether or not Gordon had something to do with the incident that led to Bobbi Kristina’s hospitalization.
Miley and Tish Cyrus
As you can imagine, any relationship in which a child makes more money than his or her parent must be a little bizarre. However, some families with famous children have found a good way to balance things. Unfortunately; however, the Cyrus family doesn’t seem to be one of them. Miley Cyrus and her momager, Tish, have a very strange relationship. If you’ve been following Miley over the last few years you’ll know that she’s done some pretty off-the-wall things, all of which her mother had to have known about before hand. While most mothers in America are cringing at her behavior, Miley’s own mother is probably somewhere counting the cash.
Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn
Woody Allen might actually take the creepy old guy cake with this one. In 1991, Allen started a romantic relationship with Soon-Yi Previn (35 years Allen’s junior), the adopted daughter of his then girlfriend, Mia Farrow. Allen and Previn have since gotten married and adopted two children of their own. When asked about this “scandal,” Allen stated, “What was the scandal? I fell in love with this girl, married her. We have been married for almost 15 years now. There was no scandal, but people refer to it all the time as a scandal and I kind of like that in a way because when I go I would like to say I had one real juicy scandal in my life.“

It’s not really clear what Courtney Stodden is famous for in the first place other than being good-looking and marrying a 50-year-old man when she was only 16. However, she remains famous nonetheless, and her marriage isn’t the only bizarre relationship in her life. Courtney and her father have a very strange father daughter relationship, and her father has been seen spanking Courtney and kissing her on the lips. Let the crowd say, EW!
Franklin and Elanor Roosevelt
Former president, Franklin Roosevelt is one of the most well-known presidents in recent history. His wife, Eleanor Roosevelt, is also known as one of the most influential first ladies. However, while these two were definitely one of the United States’ first power couples, they were also cousins. Although they were fifth cousins, which may seem far enough apart for most people, Roosevelt’s mother opposed the relationship and hoped that her son would eventually change his mind. Unfortunately for her, that wasn’t the case.
Lindsay and Dina Lohan
Most kids would love to have ‘cool’ parents. However, there comes a time where the line must be drawn, unless of course you’re a member of the Lohan family. Lindsay Lohan, and her mother Dina, have been known to party and get wild together – which probably isn’t a good idea, especially because Lindsay has struggled with substance abuse issues.
Mackenzie and John Phillips
Several years ago, Mackenzie Phillips accused her famous father, John Phillips, of having inappropriate relations with her while she was growing up. Mackenzie even said that the abuse didn’t stop until she became pregnant with her father’s child. While her sister insists that the allegations are false, Mackenzie stands by her word. Her father; however, passed away in 2001.
Jessica Simpson and Joe Simpson (Father)
Of course parents should think that their children are beautiful, but Jessica Simpson’s father referring to the singer as “sexy” just didn’t sit well with a lot of people. There’s no denying that Simpson is a beautiful woman, but perhaps her father could have tried to seem more tasteful and less creepy when paying his daughter a compliment. Joe has also made strange comments about his daughter’s breasts, and well, he’s either trying really hard for the father of the year award or trying really hard to gross people out.
Hulk and Brooke Hogan
First off, it’s not hard to see that Brooke Hogan would clearly be her father’s type if, well, she wasn’t his daughter. However, daughter or not – that hasn’t stopped these two from having a strange relationship. A few years ago images began circulating the Internet of Hulk rubbing his daughter’s backside down with sunscreen. The situation got so heated that Brooke publicly defended her father and said that their relationship is in no way “perverted.”
Angelina Jolie and James Haven
When Angelina Jolie and her brother, James Haven, kissed each other on the lips everyone was shocked. It’s not every day you see a pair of siblings engaging in what appears to be a make out sesh. However, the kiss proved to be more than a one time thing. Angelina Jolie is known for marching to the beat of her own drum, so a little bit of bizarre behavior every once in a while is to be expected, but this was much more than most people bargained for.
Tatum and Ryan O’Neal
When Farrah Fawcett passed away in 2009, Ryan O’Neal hadn’t seen his estranged daughter, Tatum, in so long that when she showed up at the funeral he didn’t recognize her. As a result he ended up hitting on her. Now, it’s kind of hard to believe that he didn’t recognize his own daughter, but hey, you never know. What’s also kind of sad is that he was trying to hit on someone at his girlfriend’s funeral. This guy just went 0 for 2.

While the rest of the world has been arguing over whether or not women should be allowed to breast feed in public, Alicia Silverstone is fighting for her right to feed her child from her own mouth. Yup, that’s right – bird feeding isn’t just for the birds anymore.

Over the last few years it seems like Rob Kardashian has become the least favorite member of the Kardashian family. However, his relationship with his sister Khloe has seemed to remain intact. Actually, their relationship sometimes seems more like a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship than that of a brother and sister. While most people probably shook their heads when they saw the sexy shoot, Seymour and her sons seemed to be completely comfortable. Well, if this is how family photos are supposed to look, there’s a good chance your family has been doing them wrong for years.

Albert Einstein is widely considered one of the smartest people to ever exist, but all the smarts in the world didn’t stop him from seeing anything wrong with marrying his cousin. That’s right, Einstein’s second wife, Elsa, was actually his first cousin. The two were married from 1919 until Elsa’s death in 1936, and Einstein never married again.
Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner
Ever since the Kardashian family rose to fame, it seems like Kris Jenner’s relationships with her children are more about business than anything else. Her relationship with Kim especially, seems to be all about what can make the family the most money. In 2003, when Kim’s sex tape leaked, her mom is said to be the brains behind turning into a great way to make money. While that may have been a wise business decision, exploiting your children probably isn’t the best move.
Charlotte and Serge Gainsbourg
Any time a parent and child work together on anything that has the word “incest” in the title, there’s a pretty good chance that people are going to be raising eyebrows. In 1984 father daughter duo, Serge and Charlotte Gainsbourg, wrote and recorded a song called “Lemon Incest.” If that weren’t bad enough, the video showed the father and daughter lying together in bed with Serge shirtless and Charlotte (12 at the time) wearing a t-shirt and panties.
